Caterpillar "360°"

How do you create a stage in the middle of huge Caterpillar machines, which doesn`t look like a miniature? Make it bigger than the machines :-) The screen tower (left) and the artist tower (right) were 4 meters wide and 12 meters high. 

An interactive show with canadian artists „Traces“ created a 360°-performance and introduced the complex theme in an understandable and highly entertaining way to the audience. All the footage was shot in portrait format on 35 mm in South Africa, the artists were shot in a huge green screen studio in Montreal. The live-performance of the artists was frame accurate synced to the actions on the screen.
